Setup

Agent Workspace deprecated: Existing Agent Workspace selections were migrated to the new Workspace Settings > Slack → Visibility → Show in Slack Assistant toggle. Use that toggle to control which workspaces appear in the Assistant.

Select workspaces for the Slack Assistant

In each workspace that should appear in the Slack Assistant, go to Workspace Settings > Slack and toggle Visibility → Show in Slack Assistant.

Any workspace with this toggle enabled can be chosen by users when they start a Slack Assistant conversation.

Set default channel

Choose a default channel where tickets created from DMs in that workspace will be organized.Navigate to Workspace Settings > General and click Select in the Default Channel card.

When Ravenna can’t answer a question or a user needs human support, the conversation is converted into a ticket. The default channel ensures these tickets are automatically routed to the right team for follow-up, maintaining a seamless support workflow.

Accessing the assistant

Access Ravenna through the Slack app interface.

Open the app

Click on the Ravenna app in the Apps section in Slack.

Start chatting

Click the Chat tab to open a new conversation with Ravenna.

Access previous conversations by clicking the History tab.

Ravenna answers questions using knowledge imported into your Agent Workspace, providing accurate information directly in Slack.
