- Step-by-step
1
Go to Channel settings

2
Enable Ravenna AI

3
Customize AI Settings

-
Customize AI Response settings to determine when the bot replies in Slack.
- All messages: Replies to messages in the Slack channel and threaded messages.
- Channel Messages: Replies only to Slack channel messages, not threaded messages.
- Ravenna @ Mentions: If AI Responses is disabled, you can enable @ Mentions. Ravenna AI will respond whenever someone @ mentions the bot. This applies to both Slack channel messages and threads.
- Form Classification: If your Channel has Forms scoped to it, enabling this setting allows the AI to prompt users to fill out the correct form when their request matches a linked form.
- AI Tags: The AI will review all your tags in Ravenna and apply the relevant ones to the ticket if appropriate.
- Create ticket on 👎: If Ravenna responds using your Knowledge Base but the user feels it didn’t fully answer their question, clicking the 👎 button will create a ticket and pass it to your team for follow-up.

Test

It’s a good idea to create a test Slack channel and link it to a test Channel in Ravenna. Connect some forms to this Channel so you can safely test and configure your AI settings. Once you’re happy with how it works, you can replicate the settings in your public Slack channel.
