You can chat directly with Ravenna via direct messages (DMs) with the Ravenna Slack app or via the Slack Assistants Panel.
Agent Workspace
To get started, you’ll need to designate one of your Ravenna Workspaces as the Agent Workspace. This workspace will power AI answers in DMs and create tickets from those conversations.
To designate your Agent Workspace, navigate to Settings > Integrations. Click on the Select button in the Agent Workspace card.
Select the Workspace that you want to designate as the Agent Workspace. This will be the primary workspace for handling AI interactions.
Default Queue
Next, you’ll need to select a Default Queue for your Workspace. All tickets created from DMs will be created in this queue, ensuring proper organization and tracking of customer inquiries.
To designate your Default Queue, navigate to Settings > Slack. Click on the Select button in the Default Queue card.
Select the Queue that you want to designate as Default for your Workspace. With both the Agent Workspace and Default Queue configured, your users can now chat directly with Ravenna via their DM.

Responses
Ravenna will answer questions based on the Knowledge that you have imported into the Agent Workspace, providing accurate and relevant information directly in Slack.
If Ravenna is unable to answer a question, it will either prompt the user to create a ticket or will automatically create one, depending on the settings configured in the Default Queue. This ensures that no inquiry goes unanswered.
